Death is out by the lakeshore, perched in the rocks overlooking the water.

She's skipping stones and watching the moonlight gleam on the water, at the peaceful spread of the ripples. The night continues with its soft and subtle song around her.

And one arm goes over his, and the other hand trails back to cup his cheek, and she has to twist a little and take one startled breath as he hits that spot beneath and behind her ear.

"If we don't watch out.... might end up going to the theatre or--ohh."

*Ah, there's that spot. He knew he'd left it somewhere. His lips barely leave her skin as he talks.*

mmm. an' then opera or ballet. picnics are a gateway outing. leads to all sorts of sordid things.

And he's making her twitch and it's gone far beyond fair.

There was a rock in her hand. It's mostly sand, now.

"...very dangerous. Must use caution. ...wouldn't want to go wrong with a thing like... a picnic."

*His teeth graze that very same spot.*

fate of the world depends on our success.

Her back arches. She can't help it. Sand runs out between her fingers.

"Careful..."

*His voice barely a whisper more like a growl.*

It's very very good that she has some form of self control. Because if she didn't, with his gentle growl at the back of her neck and his warm arms around her and the pulse and oh his lips just barely there and--

...it's almost too much to bear.

She wants to turn around, to touch him, to kiss every scar and see him tremble under her fingers. But she could well break him.

So what she does is remain perfectly still.

*Raph notices that she's stopped responding. Holding her tighter, he some how musters up the small amount of self control he has in his possession, and merely rests his chin on her shoulder.*

all jokes aside, i'd love a picnic.

"Glad to hear it."

It's a little while before she can move at all. When she can, she turns her head to kiss his temple, and runs her fingertips down the back of his neck.

*He arches into her touch, a smile plastered on his face. They could stay like this forever, and that'd be just fine by him.*

She grins.

Truly, this is nice.

Her other hand lets go of that sand and sliiiides from his knee to his thigh. She's taking her time.

*His breath catches. The hand that was splayed on her hip, is now clutching the fabric of her shirt. Rough knuckles brush against her skin.*

Slowly, slowly, she lets her head roll back, her fingers run a little further down now. There's not much of his skin that she can touch from this angle, but she makes do with what she has. Her fingers in his hair, playing over denim.

*Where as she chose not to move, he is just plain unable to do so. There is no escape. And just when he can't take it anymore.*

She complies, slowly.
her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She just looks at him a long moment, smiling in the pale silver light, the pads of her fingers just barely resting on his cheekbone.

There is the purest peace in her eyes.

*Raph appears calm. It's the insatiable hunger in his eyes, and the twitching of his left hand that gives him away.

One of his hands covers hers, holding it to his face.*

anywhere...i'd follow you anywhere.

"Silly turtle..."

His eyes... the heat there. She loves it and fears it, fears for him. But he is her creature, always.

She leans in, slowly, with the slightest trembling, and speaks almost against his lips. Almost, but not quite.

"I love you."

*He leans forward, closing the almost nonexistant distance between them, and kisses her. Gentle at first.*

Oh, and his lips are sweet, and hot, and just for half an instant there's nothing but him and her in the moonlight. Her mouth on his, slightly parted, careful, holding back so much.

*Where she holds back, he can't help but let go. Always on the edge. Living without looking first. No time for safty nets or procedure.

She's so soft. Cool to the touch, like cotton sheets on a hot summer night. Shocking and refreshing at the same time.*

And the hard rough-scraped edges of his hands and she has to twist her waist around to hook one leg over his, facing him, half-straddling, now.

She's still so careful, so gentle in the way she moves. Like water. Like light in the depths.

She makes some small sound into his mouth.

*Moaning softly as she shifts. The feeling of her on him, it's intoxicating. Hands follow her curves.*

She has to take a breath, now, and turn her head up to the dizzying glitter of the sky.

"This... this could get... very uncomfortable. Rocks... pointy."

She has to be practical about it, doesn't she? But his hands feel so good on her, so warm, and so very right.

where....where's your sense of adventure?

She turns her eyes from the spread of stars to count the stars in his eyes, and smiles.
love is not a victory march
And she drags the other leg now to wrap around his waist and her fingertips between his shoulderblades and she doesn't kiss him again, not yet.
